Kyoto Shōgyū officially opened at A11 on October 5th. (Photo / Kyoto Shōgyū, the same applies below)
Kyoto Shōgyū’s fried beef steak dishes use Japan’s 60-second cooking method — “high-temperature quick-frying.” The beef steak is directly deep-fried at a high temperature of 190 degrees Celsius for 60 seconds before being removed from the oil. This results in a steak with a tender interior and an extremely crispy exterior. While the outside is crispy, the tenderness of the meat is preserved, locking in the juices within the meat’s texture, perfectly combining steak with the frying method.
Japanese-style beef steak skewers NT$100. Skewers are a national Japanese favorite — enjoying a few light fried bites with beer after work is incredibly satisfying.
Original Fried Beef Steak NT$450. A classic dish originating from Japan, made with American wing rib beef.
Paired with a variety of condiments, it offers customers a new beef-eating experience. The fried steak meals also come with a ceramic plate, allowing diners to adjust the doneness of the beef themselves.
