Three New Delicacies at Jewel Seafood Restaurant's Second Branch in Singapore — Sogo Zhonggang Branch

Jewel Seafood carries forward thirty years of premium flavors from Singapore. Its signature dishes, the ten live crabs and classic Singaporean delicacies, are truly unforgettable. This time, the restaurant has specially invited professional sommelier Peter to share wine pairing suggestions tailored to Jewel Seafood’s featured dishes and wine list. By matching different aromatic and distinctive beverages, the flavors of the food are enhanced with layered complexity, offering customers a more comprehensive dining experience.

Jewel Seafood’s Taichung branch is located on the seventh floor of Sogo New Life Square Zhonggang Branch in Taichung. Covering an area of 200 ping, it offers a total of 204 seats (including three private rooms). The interior design follows the Taipei branch, maintaining its classic elegant style, with private rooms adorned with motifs of Singapore’s national flower, the orchid.

To welcome the year-end gathering season and the autumn crab-eating craze, the Taichung branch introduces four- to ten-person set menus. Each set includes popular favorites such as the signature Jewel Crab, lychee scallops, Mocha spare ribs, and cereal shrimp balls. At an average of just NT$1,450 per person, diners can enjoy six to ten delicious dishes, desserts, and drinks.

During the planning of the Taichung branch, views of Taichung’s cityscape were incorporated, with special seating areas reserved for enjoying the scenery. Seats are mainly designed for two to four people, while larger private rooms also offer direct views of the National Taichung Theater, designed by Japanese architect Toyo Ito. Diners can savor their meals while appreciating the city’s beauty across all seasons.
