Attention, Pokémon Trainers！The globally popular 《Pokémon GO Safari Zone》 is coming to Tainan from November 1 to 5, 2018！During this five-day event, you might have the chance to encounter various extremely rare Pokémon such as “Relicanth,” which has never appeared in Taiwan before. There will also be a variety of food stalls at the venue—don’t forget to fill your stomach while you catch 'em all！

The main event venues for this Tainan Safari Zone are Tainan Metropolitan Park and Chi Mei Museum Plaza. Various Shiny Pokémon such as Pinsir and Swablu, as well as New Zealand-exclusive Relicanth and a Tainan-themed Mystery Symbol “T.A.I.N.A.N. Z.O.N.E,” will make surprise appearances at the event venues！
Shiny Pokémon will also appear at the Chi Mei Museum Plaza.
In addition to the main event venues, don’t forget to explore the city, as the entire Greater Tainan area offers opportunities to encounter rare Pokémon. Pokémon Stops within downtown Tainan may also feature limited-edition eggs—trainers, make sure to seize this opportunity！
It is recommended to use public transportation to get to the event venues, such as trains, high-speed rail, or buses.
Additionally, the Tainan City Government Tourism Bureau has specially invited over 69 local businesses to promote Tainan’s cuisine and attractions to Pokémon Trainers visiting the city. From October 31 to November 12, several hotels are also offering special discounts—just show your in-game screen to enjoy the perks.

How to Get to the Venues:
※ Traffic control will be in place at the venue; public transportation is recommended.
1. Taiwan Railways (TRA): Take a local train from TRA Tainan Station or TRA Shalun Station (adjacent to THSR Tainan Station) to Bao’an Station. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the station to the venue.
2. High-Speed Rail + TRA: After arriving at THSR Tainan Station, go directly to TRA Shalun Station via the second-floor ticket gate and transfer to a local train to Bao’an Station. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the station to the venue.
3. Bus: THSR shuttle buses, Fucheng Bus No. 5, Xingnan Bus Red 3, Red 3-1, Red 4, Kaohsiung Bus No. 239, and the Gao-Nan Dual-City Express.
Parking + Shuttle: During the event, from 09:30 to 17:30 daily, shuttle buses will run between THSR Tainan Station and the Sugar Mall Carnival Shopping Center to the main event venue at Tainan Metropolitan Park. Buses depart when full.
