Based on the philosophy of giving back to the community and creating a friendly environment, a multi-purpose recreational sports park has been built atop the Dihua Wastewater Treatment Plant in Taipei’s Datong District. The park is close to Dihua Lunar New Year Street, Lao Shi Mansion, and the Confucius Temple, making it a great destination for families to exercise, take a stroll, and enjoy the festive season during the Lunar New Year holiday.

Covering an area of 4.6 hectares, the Dihua Recreational Sports Park offers free basketball courts, tennis courts, softball fields, a roller-skating rink, and fitness trails. It serves as a daily leisure spot for local residents and is also perfect for those looking to burn off some calories after indulging over the Lunar New Year break.
The park features a children’s play area that’s a hit with little ones.
It also includes a favorite kids’ play zone and open activity lawns, allowing families to enjoy quality time together.

In addition to enjoying the park’s sports and family-friendly facilities, experiencing its installation art and lush plantings, the park sits along the Tamsui River. From the arched LED-lit elevated scenic platform, visitors can also admire the beauty of riverbank sunsets and nighttime cityscapes.
