This summer, the hottest way to beat the heat in Taiwan is to take on one waterslide after another — each longer than the last！ To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village in Nantou has introduced a 150-meter-long “Forest Waterslide” for the first time, giving visitors the thrill of a high-speed, ground-hugging descent. The attraction is only open from now until August 31.

Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village says the Forest Waterslide is 8 meters high and 150 meters long. The entire slide snakes through the forest, combining with the Summer Water Battle Zone and Caribbean Adventure attractions to create a summer forest water wonderland！ Visitors can lie down, go prone, or use the swimming ring cushions provided by the park to slide down. No matter how you choose to experience it, you’ll feel the rush of an exhilarating sprint.

To allow visitors to rinse off easily after playing in the water, shower facilities, hot-air body dryers, and lockers are also available near the slide. The goal is to let everyone fully enjoy the fun of sliding. For those who want a one-ticket pass to the slide, cable car, rides, and cultural village performances, the current ticket price is NT$580. To celebrate the park’s 30th birthday this year, the management also announced that anyone whose birthday is on July 27 can enjoy free admission from July 27 to July 31.
