The organiser of Hong Kong’s only travel exhibition, the “Hong Kong International Travel Expo – ITE”, Hui Zhong, is pleased to announce its collaboration with Oxford University Press (China) to host the Oxford Primary English Writing Competition 2018/19, and has agreed to serve as a co-organising partner for the competition?
Oxford University Press successfully hosted an English writing competition for the first time last year. This year’s competition will invite teachers and students to form independent groups to share their travel experiences in English, using the writing competition to spark curiosity and interest among students in exploring the world.
The next ITE will be held from 13 to 16 June 2019. The first two business days are open only to industry professionals, while the last two days are open to the public. As a co-organising partner, Hui Zhong is happy to leverage ITE to promote this English writing competition, such as promoting it within the travel industry, displaying award-winning works at the exhibition venue, hosting an awards ceremony, and organising study tour seminars for teachers. According to surveys, participants of the Hong Kong International Travel Expo show interest in study tours and related areas. 27.7% of industry professionals and 8.9% of the public expressed interest in study tours, while 16.9% of the public are interested in family trips. Among exhibitors, 135 introduced products such as youth travel.
ITE has always showcased a variety of in-depth and themed tours suitable for high-end travellers such as business incentive and independent travellers. More than 30 activities such as business matchmaking sessions, seminars, and industry forums are held in the days leading up to the exhibition, while over a hundred travel talks and folk performances from different regions are featured during the two public days. ITE provides various B2B and B2C solutions for exhibitors.
The next ITE will combine the 33rd International Travel Expo (Leisure) and the 14th Business Incentive Travel Expo, to be held at Halls 1A-1E of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
