The annual Taipei Hot Spring Season is here again！ As the weather gradually cools down, there’s no better time for a hot spring soak. This year’s event is held in the Beitou Hot Spring area. It features a family-friendly splash pool for kids and adults to enjoy together, a giant inflatable water play area, festive hot spring performances, as well as over 60 hot spring businesses promoting their hotels on-site.

The 2018 Taipei Hot Spring Season runs from November 1st to November 5th for five consecutive days. During the event, you can experience the “Blessing Soup Festival,” filled with the vibrant atmosphere of a traditional hot spring celebration. On November 3rd and 4th, representatives from hot spring regions across Japan and Asia-Pacific, along with mikoshi (portable shrines) and mascot characters, will parade through the streets. Local men and boys from Beitou will carry the mikoshi together and shout blessing slogans, giving everyone the feeling of being in a Japanese festival！

In addition to the splash zone, the event also features a special blessing area and a "Blessing Hot Spring" where both kids and adults can pray for good fortune while enjoying the water activities.

In addition, the hot spring season has partnered with EasyCard and LINE Pay to provide more convenient mobile payment services.
