Upholding Japanese artisanal craftsmanship, reviving the flavors of the Edo period
“Kaneko Hananosuke” authentically presents traditional flavors from the Edo era, rigorously selecting ingredients. It has invested heavily to import exclusive secret sauces passed down from the Edo period in Japan, and uses imported Japanese sesame oil (a premium oil specially used for tempura, priced 6–7 times higher than regular cooking oil, to enhance the aroma of tempura), Nisshin Violet Flour, Hananosuke’s signature seven-spice blend, and main seafood ingredients directly delivered from Tsukiji.
