Japan’s popular drugstore chain “Matsumoto Kiyoshi” opened its first store in Taiwan in Taipei’s East District in October. Its second branch is set to begin trial operations on November 13 and officially open on November 15. This time, it also introduces a wide range of best-selling exclusive products from Japan—perfect for beauty and lifestyle shoppers looking to indulge in some serious shopping.

What sets Matsumoto Kiyoshi apart from other drugstores is its introduction of four exclusive private-label brands, as well as a variety of popular Japanese brands and limited-edition products. Many best-selling Japanese drugstore items that were once only available in Japan can now be purchased in Taiwan.

The second store, located at Eslite Nanxi in Taipei, has added even more product lines for the grand opening and is offering special limited-time surprise prices to thank customers. Up to 80% of the store’s offerings are imported from Japan, allowing everyone to shop popular Japanese drugstore products without flying to Japan.
