The world’s leading luxury cruise brand, “Princess Cruises,” makes its first debut at Booth I-1301 of the Taipei International Travel Fair, featuring its most anticipated and widely-discussed-at-social-media “Majestic Princess” sailing, along with the red-hot “Sun Princess” from this summer making a strong comeback.

The itineraries also include new ways to explore Japan and Korea, satisfying Taiwanese guests’ diverse travel imaginations and shattering the three common misconceptions about cruises—“expensive, crowded, and boring”—as shown in public opinion polls. During the international travel fair, in addition to exclusive fair discounts that can save up to NT$10,000, limited-edition on-site booking gifts are also offered, helping consumers plan early and effortlessly enjoy their 2019 cruise vacation.
Princess Cruises has specially set up a VR experience, allowing the public to be the first to try out two flagship facilities: the “Sea Walk” and the “Luxury Stateroom.”
There are also many fun and rewarding activities at the international travel fair, offering everyone an in-depth experience of the charm of the Princess Cruises fleet. A VR setup is specially available on-site, enabling the public to experience the two classic facilities—the “Sea Walk” and the “Luxury Stateroom”—via technology, with high realism that makes you feel as if you’re right on the cruise. In addition, the cutest mascot, Stanley the Bear, will appear on the hour.
The 143,000-ton “Majestic Princess” is expected to remain the largest cruise ship to visit Keelung home port in 2019. The “La Mer by Emmanuel Renaut” French restaurant, designed by three-Michelin-star chef Emmanuel Renaut, and Taiwan’s first Michelin-star chef Chen Chen-lang, as well as the Cantonese restaurant “Guanlanxuan,” will once again conquer the taste buds of guests.
Princess Cruises leads its ultra-strong 2019 fleet with both the Majestic and Sun Princess making strong comebacks, making their first glamorous appearance at the Taipei International Travel Fair, estimated to boost purchasing interest by 20%.
The unprecedented sensory experience of the “Majestic Princess,” with the skywalk suspended on the 16th deck, offers a 360-degree glass panoramic view from high above to admire the vast ocean. The dazzling original song and dance performance “Fantasy Journey,” loved by Taiwanese audiences and always sold out, features world-class performers alongside giant LED screens and the globally unique 16-drone setup, creating a dynamic visual feast.
The most talked-about “Majestic Princess,” which has generated huge discussion online, is now on hot sale for its April to July 2019 sailings.
The “Sun Princess,” setting sail during the summer vacation, will feature the exclusively refurbished and upgraded Camp Discovery exploration camp, along with luxury mattresses designed by sleep experts, providing a warm and luxurious experience for guests of all ages. It also partners exclusively with celebrity chef Curtis Stone from “Surfing Chef” for the SHARE Restaurant, where you can get a glimpse of the chef’s exclusively designed creative dishes for Princess Cruises and experience his personally crafted “Chef’s Table.”
In addition to popular Okinawa routes, the 2019 “Sun Princess” will also take Taiwanese guests from Kobe and Hyuga in Japan back to Keelung Port in Taiwan, and for the first time in summer, visit famous Korean port cities: Jeju, Busan, and Yeosu, enjoying a maritime journey through Japan and Korea.
