New Taipei has another new photo hotspot: Zhonggang Drainage Channel, often referred to as the Taiwanese version of Ching-Chi Stream. After undergoing river restoration, the water is now clean and clear, and many cute decorations have been added, offering visitors the chance to snap beautiful pictures and enjoy the urban riverfront scenery.

After the river restoration, Zhonggang Drainage Channel now features colorful murals along the banks and playful, cute stepping stones on the water for people to walk on and take photos.

Stretching 1.7 kilometers, the most eye-catching feature of the Zhonggang Drainage Channel walking path is these highly saturated, adorable water-step stones, which look incredibly soothing both in the daytime and at night.
