“Water Droplet Dots” uses daily, farm-fresh honeydew melons delivered straight from their origin. The flesh is hand-scooped into adorable little meatball-like bits, topped with vanilla ice cream and crispy almond flakes. They also offer the recently popular Mount Fuji-shaped shaved ice, featuring French blue citrus-flavored blue ice, topped with vanilla ice cream and condensed milk. Fengjia Ice Bar
Located in Taichung’s Fengjia Night Market, Fengjia Ice Bar is decorated in wood and yellow tones to create a retro ice parlor vibe. Here you can see a variety of fruits on display and enjoy ice desserts made with seasonal fruits. Among them, the most popular is the limited-edition “Summer Honeydew Snowflake Ice.” It uses half a honeydew melon as the bowl, filled with honeydew-flavored snowflake ice and scoops of melon flesh, topped with condensed milk. Each bite offers the natural fragrance of honeydew. Priced at NT$180, one serving is just right for two people.

PASBU Creative Ice
All the ice desserts at PASBU Creative Ice are handmade in-house with strict hygiene standards. Unlike most shaved ice that is eaten with spoons, PASBU serves their ice with cute silver “mini shovels.” Each fruit-flavored ice block is individually prepared. The melon snowflake shaved ice is the shop’s most popular flavor — featuring a hollowed-out half of a honeydew melon filled with the same-flavor snowflake ice and diced fruit pieces. It’s bursting with melon flavor, priced at NT$90 per serving.

Dongmen Teahouse (Zizaiyuan)
Dongmen Teahouse is located in the alleys behind Ruifeng Night Market. In the summer, it offers a seasonal specialty — a combination of melon sorbet and mango sorbet. Different from other melon-flavored ice desserts, Dongmen Teahouse uses a whole half of a honeydew as the base, topped with fresh mango slices, homemade melon sorbet, and mango sorbet. Thanks to its high fruit content and generous portions, one serving is priced at NT$250.
