There’s another great deal on Taiwan flights—this time China Airlines is offering limited-time discounts. The cheapest is Tainan, with round-trip flights starting as low as $630 (taxes included, from $1013). Round-trip flights to Kaohsiung/Taipei/Taichung are $680, and even with taxes, they’re just $1,061, making them an excellent value.
Anping Fort was built by the Dutch in 1624 and is a landmark of Tainan, as well as the oldest castle in Taiwan.
