Travel Center / Comprehensive Report
Queenny (Queenny), which rose to fame in Tainan, can now be enjoyed not only in Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung but also in Hsinchu. The Queenny Guangfu store in Hsinchu officially opened on November 17. The store design has evolved from version 1.0 in a caramel dark brown style, to 2.0 with a light and warm wooden tone, and now to 3.0 featuring a fresh and vibrant herbaceous green.
“One bite of tapioca pearls, full of happiness and satisfaction” is Queenny’s business philosophy. Their most popular drink is the Caramel Tapioca Pearl, which requires several hours of simmering to achieve its caramel flavor and glossy coffee-like color, paired with their self-developed tea beverages or fresh milk. The founder, Huang Yanzhang, revealed that the secret to its delicious taste lies in five meticulous steps: stir-frying, boiling, steaming, saucing, and soaking—slow-cooked over low heat with patience. After multiple rounds of research and adjustments, the flavor of the Caramel Tapioca Pearls has been further upgraded this time, with an enhanced overall caramel aroma while reducing the sweetness level.
To celebrate the opening of the Hsinchu Guangfu store, Queenny has specially launched the “You Name It!” campaign. Starting with the Hsinchu store, for seven consecutive days (from the 17th to the 23rd), a unique mystery drink will be introduced each day, and the public will be invited to name these seven exclusive drinks. During the campaign period from November 17 to December 14, customers can purchase any mystery tea drink of the day for an additional NT$5, regardless of the order amount. Each receipt allows the purchase of one limited-edition drink per day. Quantities are limited to 150 sets per designated store, and sales are available while supplies last each day with fixed sugar and ice levels.
