Taipei’s most electrifying New Year’s Eve celebration is entering its final countdown, and besides the previously revealed Korean girl group EXID, Asian diva A-mei and hip-hop sensation MJ116 will be the dual closer guests for Taipei’s countdown this year.

The A-list relay includes rising star Annie, singer-songwriter Hsieh Ho-hsien, idol heartthrob Wu Szu-hsien, drumming sensation Drummer K, Ting Ting, and MC Yao Chung, taking turns to hype up Taipei.

This year breaks from past NYE parties by incorporating EDM elements, featuring “Top 100 DJ in the World” Cookie collaborating with international piano maestro Chen Ruei-pin, aiming to deliver a refreshing audiovisual experience.

Beyond the exclusive lineup, the event will also feature a mystery guest. The city government has created Taiwan’s only virtual reality version of Mayor Ko, who will preview December’s must-visit spots in Taipei.

Throughout December, Taipei hosts a series of events, including weekend-only EDM and eSports Fun Electric Buses, plus dream mailboxes, stunning Christmas trees, and charity photo exhibits in Xinyi District. On-site hot food and travel experiences help locals gear up with full NYE energy.
