It was said that at the end of last year, a dish called "Dragon Ball Hot Pot" went viral in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and even Hong Kong. Unfortunately, by the time it gained attention, the physical store in Nagoya had already closed. However, a hot pot restaurant in Taitung took inspiration and reimagined this viral sensation, creating a new and wildly popular version of Dragon Ball Hot Pot!

It’s said that the owner spent several months researching and, after countless trials, finally figured out the secret recipe. The rich collagen-rich broth is made from chicken feet, pork skin, and stock. It solidifies into bouncy “pearl-like” balls, which are then dyed with carrots to create these so-called “dragon balls”!
Online rumors questioned whether these “dragon balls” contained artificial plasticizers. The owner clarified that they are made entirely from “unprocessed, natural ingredients” and are completely safe to eat.

In terms of pricing, dragon balls are charged per piece, costing NT$50 each, and require advance booking. The restaurant offers a variety of hot pot broths, with individual pots for each diner. Unlimited vegetables are provided, and the cost per person is approximately NT$300 to NT$700.
