Itoh Kyuemon's First Taiwan Store Opens on July 27 – Matcha Parfait Only for Dine-In

The first overseas directly operated branch of Itoh Kyuemon’s matcha specialty store is set to officially open at noon on July 27. The in-store menu will feature only the “Matcha Parfait,” available in limited daily quantities and while supplies last. Takeaway items include matcha daifuku, matcha raw chocolate, and matcha cappuccino. As for the matcha roll cake, it will be available in limited quantities starting at the end of August.

The business hours for Itoh Kyuemon’s first Taiwan store are from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday to Sunday. All seating is on a first-come, first-served basis—no phone or online reservations accepted. The store is closed on Mondays.

Established in 1832 (about 180 years ago) in Uji, Kyoto, “Itoh Kyuemon” specializes in the manufacturing and sale of Japanese tea, food, and green tea products. Its wide range of offerings includes tea leaves, matcha powder, sweets, soba noodles, daifuku, cakes, raw chocolate, and Japanese sake (including Nihonshu). Their matcha sundae and matcha daifuku are especially popular items.
