Following the romantic underwater Christmas tree in Taichung’s Liuchuan River, the north now has its own underwater Christmas tree too!

Chaoyang Forest Park—Chaoyang Shuiyu Education Park in Taoyuan City held the “Night Tour at Chaoyang: ‘Water Ripples Christmas’” event during this Christmas season. An underwater Christmas tree was created in the park’s ecological pond, complemented by dazzling artistic light displays around, illuminating the entire park—brilliant and beautiful.
An artistic light corridor has also been set up by the waterside, allowing visitors to stroll through a tunnel of Christmas lights.
Visiting the park during the day allows you to enjoy the lush green shade and lawns, with small fish and other aquatic creatures observable in the pond. When night falls, the park lights up with festive decorations, enabling everyone to take a romantic evening walk along the sparkling Christmas waterfront.
Underground Observation Corridor.
Additionally, apart from the vibrant Christmas lights, the park’s “Underground Observation Corridor” is also specially open during the Christmas period. Led by volunteer guides, visitors can learn about the water purification process—an rare opportunity not to be missed for those interested.
