Hualien Now Has an IMAX Theater！Taiwan’s First Vieshow Cinemas in Eastern Taiwan Is Located in Hualien New Paradise, Which Also Features the World’s Tallest Indoor Double Helix Slide That Both Adults and Kids Will Be Excited About！

The Starbucks container store, which opened in September and quickly became a popular Instagram spot, is located just outside New Paradise. Three months later, New Paradise has finally celebrated its grand opening. Its vibrant exterior features the world’s largest mosaic mural, and the entire structure is the world’s first organic building—truly unique.

The most anticipated part of New Paradise is Vieshow Cinemas, which features IMAX Laser screens, cutting-edge optical technology beyond 4K, and a brand-new 12.0-channel surround sound system—offering moviegoers in eastern Taiwan the best cinematic experience possible. The cinema complex houses 6 theaters with around 1,200 seats in total. The IMAX theater has 368 seats. There’s also Sofa Hall A+, which offers premium lounge seating, and Function Hall S, comparable to a Broadway-level theater that can host not only films but also future stage performances, operas, and more.

On opening day, the cinema launched a special promotion: the first 1,000 visitors who collected a number and completed a designated action could purchase tickets for any screening of the day at the bronze price of just NT$50—that’s an amazing deal！

Another highlight of New Paradise is the world’s tallest indoor double helix family slide. It stands 28 meters high, with a single spiral stretching 72.8 meters. In just 15 seconds, you can zip from the 5th floor all the way down to the B1 level. The slide also features dazzling light and sound effects, making the ride feel like a short but thrilling fantasy journey！
