Spring has arrived, and it’s once again the season for cherry blossom viewing. In addition to Japan and South Korea, Taiwan also boasts many great places to admire cherry blossoms. This time, the Fever Photography Travel Channel introduces the well-known Alishan.

The Alishan National Scenic Area covers a total area of approximately 41,520 hectares, spanning four townships: Fanlu, Zhushan, Meishan, and Alishan. It is most famous for its natural beauty, including sea of clouds, sunrises, and sunsets. Every spring, it attracts a large number of visitors who come to witness the breathtaking sight of cherry blossoms blanketing the mountains.
There are various species of cherry blossoms here, with the Yoshino cherry being the most abundant — there are over 1,900 trees. Other varieties include the Taiwan mountain cherry and the double-flowered cherry (Yaezakura), making it a rare and wonderful destination for cherry blossom enthusiasts.
