Mascot Bar, nestled in a lane off Kaisyuan Road in Tainan, features soaring spires and exquisite grey bas-reliefs. Its Gothic-style church architecture has caught many eyes.

The lime-colored Mascot Bar stands out vividly against the backdrop of surrounding old houses. Its faux-Gothic church exterior is also a renovated old building. It has two floors in total: the first floor is an Italian restaurant, and the second floor is designed as a barbershop. Pushing open the large glass door, visitors are greeted with black-walled interiors and a grand lion head decoration, accented occasionally with touches of gold to evoke a low-key sense of luxury. Looking up, one can see spiral-shaped acrylic strips that create an alternative visual effect through lighting.

The establishment specializes in Italian cuisine. In addition to classic tomato and white wine-based pasta, it also offers flavors such as “Thai Spicy Coconut Milk” and “Green Curry.” Meanwhile, its drinks and desserts are also quite distinctive—options like “Lychee Fruit Fizz,” “White Russian,” “Strawberry Sour? Caramel Martini,” and “Snow White Apple Snowball Ice Cream” are particularly eye-catching.

The average price of dishes at Mascot Bar ranges between NT$200 and NT$300, placing it in the mid-range category. The venue has limited seating, accommodating around 14 people in total, and operates strictly by reservation. Many customers have been frantically calling to book a table, and netizens have commented that the pasta sauces are rich and flavorful, while the desserts and drinks are both creative and delicious. They say they would definitely make another reservation if given the chance.
