Penghu’s annual major tourism event, the “Penghu International Marine Fireworks Festival,” has just released its latest 2019 schedule. The event runs from mid-April to the end of June, featuring a total of 22 fireworks shows. This year, most of the fireworks displays will take place on weekdays, so if you want to join this spectacular celebration, it’s time to start adjusting your schedule now!*

The 2019 Penghu International Marine Fireworks Festival will take place from April 18 to June 27. Fireworks will be launched every Monday and Thursday, with an additional special show on Mother’s Day, May 12, inviting visitors to bring their beloved moms to Penghu to enjoy the beautiful fireworks spectacle.
The fireworks blooming in the night sky this year combine technology, light art, and music to create even more stunning and moving audiovisual effects. The festival will also extend its reach by connecting with Duxing Shicun, Magong Commercial District, and local industry clusters in Penghu to promote tourism.
