If you’ve been to Tokyo Disneyland in Japan, you might have noticed that almost everyone is holding an adorable Disney bear named Duffy. Its popularity rivals that of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Donald Duck. But can you only buy it in Japan? This summer, the brand-new Duffy-themed store “Town Square Theater: ‘My Duffy Adventure’” has opened at Hong Kong Disneyland. Alongside a variety of themed experiences such as special photo services, merchandise, food, and themed hotel room decorations, Duffy’s newest friend, feline artist Little Tony, also makes his first appearance in the park. He joins Duffy at the store’s signature photo spot, meeting fans with warmth and joy.

Does seeing the Disney bear Duffy make your heart melt, and you can’t wait to bring him home? The new themed store “Town Square Theater: ‘My Duffy Adventure’” on Main Street, U.S.A., offers up to 230 exquisite items featuring Duffy, ShellieMay, and feline artist Little Tony, including plush toys, stationery, jewelry accessories, handbags, and clothing. Among them, over 20 exclusive items available only at Hong Kong Disneyland will be launched successively, allowing visitors to explore a wide range of themed merchandise. Additionally, since the merchandise is designed with the classic cinema from the movie “My Duffy Adventure” as the backdrop, guests can also take commemorative photos with the Disney bears and their friends in front of the themed decorations in the store.
Fujifilm has become the designated imaging partner alliance for Hong Kong Disneyland. It sponsors the signature photo spot in the new Duffy-themed store. The park has also collaborated with Fujifilm to launch Disney bear-themed instant print kiosks and photo paper sets, making them the perfect choice for guests taking photos with the three Disney friends.

Yan Wanying, the Financial Controller of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, pointed out that Disney bears Duffy and ShellieMay joined Hong Kong Disneyland in 2010 and 2014 respectively, quickly attracting a large fan base. The arrival of feline artist Little Tony is also expected to be loved by everyone. The park has specially designed the themed store as a cinema, decorated with multiple movie stills, and provides meet-and-greet opportunities with the three Disney friends, hoping to make guests’ magical journeys even more unforgettable. This time, the park has also partnered with Fujifilm and pictureAir to deliver a complete Disney magical experience through new imaging services.
In addition, the newly launched “Disney Photo Everywhere” mobile app, introduced by pictureAir under the Hong Kong-based company DIC Colour (HK) Technology Limited, allows users to scan the QR code on the “Disney Photo Everywhere” card to preview the amazing photos taken by park photographers at any time. Through the app, guests can even instantly pay with a credit card to purchase individual digital photos and download them to their phones, or buy unlimited downloads of all photos taken during the day for HK$398. Visitors no longer need to go to designated locations to preview photos, leaving more time to enjoy the park.
