Travel Center / Comprehensive Report
As the Christmas season approaches, Regent Taipei is following its 25-year tradition by setting up the tallest indoor Christmas tree among all five-star hotels in Taiwan in its atrium. The event also welcomed Bravo, the official mascot of the Taipei 2017 Universiade, as the guest of honor for the tree lighting ceremony. The ceremony was jointly held by Pan Siliang, Chairman of Regent Taipei and Silks Club, and Wu Weizheng, Managing Director of Regent Taipei.
Located in the first-floor atrium of Regent Taipei, the Christmas tree stands nearly 15 meters tall, spanning three floors. It is adorned with 27,000 LED lights, 1,700 colorful bows, 2,000 shimmering gold and silver balls, 1,500 golden pinecones, and 1,500 poinsettias. This beautiful Christmas tree has become an annual tradition, standing proudly in the hotel’s atrium every November to help guests soak in a warm and festive holiday atmosphere.
