Starbucks Unveils Another Themed Store in an Old Railway Station – Enjoy Coffee While Watching Trains at the Vintage Station

In 2019, Starbucks’ first themed store was situated in Xinfeng, Hsinchu — Taiwan’s first-ever themed store built from a renovated old railway station.

It is also the first Starbucks where customers can watch trains go by from inside the store. The concept aims to mark a new milestone for themed stores under the idea of “old buildings, new Starbucks experiences.”

The old railway station has a history of over 100 years, dating back to the late Qing Dynasty. The store’s design concept draws inspiration from the grand halls of old stations, integrating the flowing lines of train tracks to invite visitors to explore the city’s footsteps amid the aroma of Starbucks coffee.
Sipping coffee while admiring the charm of the railway track is an absolutely delightful experience.
