Drink down enchanting fairy tales at this newly opened dreamy gradient juice shop in the East District!

“Find a love that lasts forever, taste a mermaid’s fantasy.” This summer has been filled with gradient juices, but the heat remains relentless, so we can never have too many juice options. Nestled in a lively alley in Taipei’s East District is a pink, dreamy smoothie/juice shop that looks like an elf’s room—this tiny space is brimming with magical vibes. On one wall, an elf spreads its radiant wings, its gentle appearance attracting all those sun-dazzled passersby to try a specially blended精灵 smoothie and beat the summer heat.

Win Win Smoothie & Juice, newly opened on a bustling street in Taipei’s East District, sits right in the heart of shopping and dining, near Exit 4 of Zhongxiao Dunhua Station. Though small, the shop draws the attention of passersby with its uniquely charming design. I particularly like the light blue and white signage—it gives off a bright, refreshing vibe, just like the smoothies they serve.

The overall look of the store is very clean and fresh, which makes the elegant floral wallpaper beneath the central counter stand out. I really love that light blue wallpaper—it has an air of European elegance. Upon closer inspection, both walls are painted with fantastical patterns: flower sprites with wings in bloom and pink-and-white roses hanging on the wall, giving the impression upon entering that you’ve stepped into a little精灵 room. This graceful, soft style is sure to be a hit with many girls!

Looking at the painted logo on the wall, I was suddenly reminded—isn’t this the most popular color scheme of the year? Rose Quartz Pink and Serenity Blue, as if representing two colors from a dreamlike realm, their blended hues are truly beautiful, and just looking at them lifts your spirits.

Purple Dreamcatcher, Eternal Love, Little Mermaid’s Fantasy – NT$95

Aside from the dreamy ambiance inside, even the names of the smoothies sound like enchanting fairy tales. On the far left is the Purple Dreamcatcher, made with freshly blended blueberries, bananas, milk, honey, and oats. You can see the layered effect between the blueberries and milk—the color gradation is quite mesmerizing. With plenty of blueberries added, the purple hue is especially vivid, and the taste is dominated by blueberries, with a hint of actual fruit bits. There’s also a subtle banana flavor.

On the far right is the Little Mermaid’s Fantasy, made with dragon fruit, strawberries, oranges, and milk. The brightest red layer on top comes from the dragon fruit. It’s recommended to stir it slightly before drinking. Compared to the Dreamcatcher, this one has less milk, making it more refreshing, especially with the distinct orange flavor—you can even taste the slight texture of dragon fruit and orange pulp!

The shop’s signature drink, Eternal Love, is also the owner’s personal favorite. The deep purple and pink layers are beautifully separated, making you even more curious if the taste matches its dreamy appearance.

This one is made with strawberries, blueberries, milk, honey, and oats. The berries are sweet and fresh, and paired with the milk, the texture is really rich (the milk used is Guangquan Fresh Milk). I particularly love the blueberry flavor—it’s sweeter and smoother than strawberries, yet not overly cloying, and pairs nicely with the mild milky taste. It’s worth mentioning that Win Win’s smoothies contain no ice or water—they’re made directly from chilled fruits, which I feel gives them a richer texture compared to many other juice and smoothie shops.

Additionally, because oats are added, drinking a cup of smoothie here will leave you feeling quite full. The owner even joked that he relies on smoothies to manage his figure.

Romantic Avignon – NT$95

This smoothie with its light yellow and pink gradient layers is made with mango, strawberries, honey, and milk. The color and flavor were my favorite of the day—refreshing and comfortable, perfect for hot summer days!

The milk content is intentionally reduced to let the mango flavor shine without being overpowered by the milk. When drinking, you first taste the fresh sweetness of the mango, followed by the tangy sweetness of the strawberries—a very refreshing flavor.

The texture includes slight bits of mango pulp and strawberry seeds, and the overall consistency is fairly thick. I personally love this fruit-like smoothie texture. Since mango is seasonal, it might not be available later—mango lovers should grab it while it’s in season this summer!

Matcha Genmaicha – NT$95

Made with Japanese matcha, avocado, banana, and milk. I was pleasantly surprised and excited to try the combination of matcha, banana, and avocado. The matcha, made from imported Japanese powder, has a slight bitterness but isn’t astringent, followed by the gradual emergence of the banana’s natural sweetness—the combination is unexpectedly harmonious.

The avocado flavor isn’t very prominent, probably because the matcha and banana flavors are more dominant. Overall, this one has a rather unique taste, though I personally still prefer the fresher fruit smoothies!

In the sweltering summer heat, you really can’t have too many smoothie and juice shops. I’m glad another worthwhile spot with gradient juices has popped up in the East District. The smoothies I tried that day were quite to my liking, and you can really sense the owner’s dedication to ingredient quality. Not only do they avoid adding water or ice, but the selection of fruits—whether local or imported—is carefully chosen, with safety certifications in place.

Though only in soft launch for two weeks, it has already attracted many young women. I think it’ll soon spark another wave of gradient juice mania. I also look forward to the shop introducing more creative, beautiful, and delicious smoothies—rumor has it they’ll soon offer yogurt-based drinks too.
