Are strawberry cake lovers ready to rush? The Shilin Xuan Yuan strawberry cake, which attracts a large number of hardcore strawberry fans every winter, has announced its in-store sales schedule for December: only on Saturdays and Sundays for a total of 10 days, plus January 1st. Sales start at 8 AM and will continue until stocks last. However, based on past experience, many people start queuing as early as 5 AM, and if the store still hands out numbered tickets, it’s possible that the cakes could sell out immediately upon release.

In addition, orders placed with reservations on October 1st have begun receiving notifications about delivery dates. Those who haven’t been notified yet can also inquire about their reservation dates via the official LINE. Shilin Xuan Yuan Cake Specialty Store also stated that the production process of the strawberry cake is complex and the output is limited. All reservations for this strawberry season have been fully booked.

Xuan Yuan’s popular items include the single-layer “Snow Preserved Strawberry Cake” and the “Double-Layer Strawberry Cake,” which comes in three flavors: original, chocolate, and matcha. The cakes have simple ingredients but rely on whole fresh strawberries, fresh cream that is refreshing and not overly sweet, and soft, fluffy sponge cake — still winning over many who fall in love with it at first bite. Many also directly tag friends on the Shilin Xuan Yuan Cake Specialty Store’s Facebook page to go queue up together.
