When flying, taller passengers are usually more sensitive to seat pitch. Accordingto foreign mediareports, for three major U.S. airlines — United, American, and Delta — the average economy class seat pitch is only 30 to 31 inches; low-cost carriers offer even less, at just 28 to 30 inches. The airline with the widest seat pitch is Interjet, a low-cost carrier headquartered in Mexico, which offers a generous 34 inches.

Surprisingly, the airline with the most spacious legroom is not a well-known traditional carrier, but Interjet, a low-cost airline based in Mexico that flies to various cities across the Americas, offering a seat pitch of 34 inches. Taiwan’s EVA Air and China Airlines also made the list.
