When traveling in Japan, shopping is one of the most important parts of the itinerary. The end of the year is also peak season for department stores, with all kinds of Christmas sets and New Year’s lucky bags. I’ve never left empty-handed after a visit. I’ve been wanting a matching set of jewelry recently, and I happened to come across this star-shaped earring and necklace set made of cubic zirconia, from the Parisian jewelry brand AGATHA. This necklace is also one of my favorite pieces from the haul. Va Vendome Aoyama is a Japanese jewelry brand, famous for its birthstone and Roman alphabet collections. This time, I bought a new necklace featuring floral shapes adorned with one large WHITE TOPAZ and one small WHITE TOPAZ, accented by a gemstone that has the sparkle of a diamond.What’s special about this necklace is that you can adjust the position of the pendant, making it highly versatile for styling.

At first, I was drawn in by its cute appearance and thought it might be some kind of toy, but upon closer inspection, it turned out to be shampoo. DAVINES was a brand I’d never heard of before — it’san Italianhaircare brand known for its shampoos. I tried it out and my hair became incredibly soft. Surprisingly, it’s well-suited for Asian hair types. Cosme Clinic is a beauty product boutique that sells cosmetics from various countries, making it perfect for gift shopping.

The Cat's Whiskers
Cat lovers must check out this store, which sells all kinds of cat-themed merchandise. This time, I got a cat-themed phone case and keychain. The phone case has a super soft, plush material that feels amazing, and the cat keychains are exquisitely crafted with slightly goofy expressions — I wanted to take every single one home.

That’s it for my shopping haul for now. I have to say, my shopping experience at MARRONNIER GATE GINZA was extremely satisfying. Compared to crowded tourist spots like Daimaru and Takashimaya, this place has relatively fewer visitors, so you can take your time browsing and carefully picking items. For the first time, I saw the CPB counter without a line — I spent 30 minutes just trying on shades.
Since I visited around Christmas, the Christmas decorations at MARRONNIER GATE GINZA were stunning. There was a huge Christmas tree at the entrance — perfect for photos. Inside the store, the central Christmas floral clockadded a festive atmosphere.
There’s also a Christmas-themed corridor upstairs that looks like a scene from a fairy tale — very romantic. If you’re shopping here soon, don’t forget to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
