is a celebration for outdoor enthusiasts in China
founded by‘Banff China’in Beijing in 2015
and is the largest urban outdoor carnival in China
At‘the Banff Outdoor Carnival’,you can experience the charm of outdoor sports together with some of the world’s top outdoor masters from the Banff Mountain Film Festival.
In 2010,‘Banff China’officially introduced the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour, thereby pioneering and promoting the development of outdoor cinema in China.Currently,it hosts seven major outdoor-themed film festivals, includingthe ‘Banff Mountain Film Festival’, ‘European Outdoor Film Tour’, ‘International Ocean Film Festival’, ‘Panshi Film Festival’, ‘China Outdoor Image Project’, ‘Hot Snow Film Festival’, and ‘Sunshine Running Film Season’. In 2015,‘Banff China’began organizing the‘Banff Outdoor Carnival’,and in 2017,‘Banff China Adventure Film Master Classis officially kicking off. At the end of 2018, the ‘Banff Outdoor Carnival’ will take place at Fuxian Lake in Kunming, Yunnan , carrying on the spirit of Banff — inspiring excitement, challenging oneself and feeling the power of life. This time,‘the Fuxian Lake · Banff Outdoor Carnival’will continue to presentExtreme Encounters (sports experience zone), Banff Life Street, Banff Fuel Station (food zone),Mountain Dialogue (photography exhibition),Banff Master Talksand other themed areas, catering to everyone’s desire to watch, experience, and participate in outdoor sports. Extreme Encounters 6 features a variety of extreme sports 30 with an exciting lineup of top athlete performances. The spectacular opening show by extreme sports stars will bring you an adrenaline-pumping visual experience, while interactive extreme sports activities let you personally feel the rush of outdoor thrills. Ski Jumping Rock Climbing Mountain Biking Trampoline Flying has always been one of humanity’s ultimate pursuits, and trampolines offer an extraordinary aerial experience.
