On December 25, the 8th China Luoyang Funiu Mountain Skiing Tourism Festival and the 1st Henan Provincial Alpine Skiing Open were inaugurated. The skiing festival is jointly organized by the Chinese Ski Association, the Henan Provincial Sports Bureau, and the Luoyang Municipal People’s Government, and hosted by the Luanchuan County People’s Government.
Since its inception in 2004, the China Luoyang Funiu Mountain Skiing Tourism Festival has quickly become the “signature dish” of Luoyang’s winter tourism due to its exciting content. This edition of the skiing tourism festival features 15 exciting activities, including the 1st Henan Provincial Alpine Skiing Open and the Central Plains Ice and Snow Tourism Summit. The participation and captivating performances of world skiing champions such as Guo Dandan and Xu Nannan have elevated the overall caliber, prestige, and entertainment value of the event.
