The Jian Mountain International Off-Road Car Challenge will take place from January 7 to January 8, 2012, at the Gujian Mountain Off-Road Racing Track in Qijiang District, Chongqing. During the off-road competition, visitors who come to the sales center on the mountain can receive spectator tickets to watch the race up close, as well as receive exquisite gifts.
The competition includes Car Groups A and B, a Women’s Group, and a Side-by-Side Four-Wheel Drive All-Terrain Motorcycle (i.e., ATV) Group. With professional athleticism and ever-changing wild conditions, the fierce battlefield delivers a war-like intensity without any smoke of gunpowder. On-site, there will also be sexy off-road car models adding to the excitement, blending fiery beauty with the rugged race for an unparalleled sensory experience. A themed photography event is also taking place simultaneously.
According to the organizers, the participants of this off-road event are from the Off-Road E-Community, which has organized and participated in many large-scale off-road activities. The organizers told us that a total of 400 off-road vehicles of various classes will compete in this event, with over 800 participants. The activity has also specially arranged corresponding car models and other elements to highlight the wildness and power. All vehicles participating in this event are world-renowned off-road models, and it is worth mentioning that each vehicle has been manually modified afterward to achieve optimal performance.
The rules of this off-road race are as follows: after registration, drivers will start from the starting platform under the direction of the judges. During the race, vehicles will pass through various off-road obstacle points before reaching the finish line, with their times recorded. Awards will be determined based on final times, and it is reported that prize money amounts to tens of thousands of yuan.
Why was Gujian Mountain chosen as the venue? For participants, the off-road race is already a highly enjoyable experience, and for spectators, it is a truly stunning visual spectacle. This means that venue selection becomes the biggest challenge. If the site is not good enough, the scale is insufficient, and both participants and spectators may find it dull. From a professional perspective, taking the E-Community participants as an example, they actually have very high requirements for the venue. Beyond meeting basic conditions, they also conduct on-site inspections of the area, evaluating aspects such as whether the venue is suitable, whether the road up the mountain is accessible, and most importantly, whether it satisfies their desire for a wild challenge — in simpler terms, their pickiness about off-road difficulty. The participants told us that after several on-site inspections, they were very satisfied with the chosen location for this event.
