Summer is peak season for water activities, but what many travelers may not know is that Taiwan boasts numerous stunning "infinity pools," most of which are located within hotels. From Taichung, Chiayi, Pingtung, to eastern Taiwan, there are infinity pools of various price ranges and experiences worth trying.《ETtoday Eastday Travel Cloud》 has compiled a list of Taiwan's "Top 10 Most Beautiful Infinity Pools", for travelers' reference.

1. Taichung - Chao Pin Hotel
The Chao Pin Hotel Taichung, which offers views of the Taichung night skyline from its rooftop, features an outdoor double-lane heated swimming pool that is 22 meters long and 120 cm deep. Guests can enjoy splashing around while feeling the breeze on the outdoor poolside. At night, it transforms into a starlit pool where you can gaze at the starry sky, enjoy the cool evening air, and take in the panoramic night view of Taichung from high above.

2. Sun Moon Lake - The Lalu
The infinity pool at The Lalu is distinctive in that, when viewed from the poolside toward Sun Moon Lake, the pool blends seamlessly with the lake’s waters, reflecting the scenic beauty of Sun Moon Lake right on its surface. Swimming here feels like being in the lake itself. Designed to be full-depth, the pool’s edges slope upward. When constructing the pool, the hotel specially fired radiating glazed tiles in the same color as the pool. Under sunlight, these tiles create reflections or refractions, making the pool water appear similar in hue to that of Sun Moon Lake.

It is also the longest pool in Taiwan, measuring 60 meters in length and 8 meters in width. The western end reaches a maximum depth of 3 meters, while the middle is 1.5 meters deep. The pool bottom slopes gradually from east to west, and the water temperature is maintained around 26°C, give or take 2 degrees.

3. Sun Moon Lake - Sun Moon Lake Visiting Center
Through its glass-designed infinity visual effect, guests feel as if they are swimming right in Sun Moon Lake. This location also features Taiwan’s first underwater bar.

4. Chiayi - Taocheng Tea Appearance
The entire hotel adopts a cultural and creative style, and its rooftop infinity pool is a major attraction that draws in locals from Chiayi. Here, you can enjoy a leisurely drink while taking in city views. At night, traffic flows beneath your feet, accompanied by lights and music, decorating Chiayi’s urban landscape with a unique nighttime ambiance.

5. Tainan - Xianhu Farm
Located in the center of the farm, the infinity pool uses mountain spring water and provides a space for play. There are three pools of varying depths, one of which includes a small slide. In summer, children can splash around while adults relax on lounge chairs by the pool, enjoying the romantic atmosphere of the farm.

6. Kenting - H Hotel
The infinity pool design at Kenting H Hotel has long been one of Taiwan’s most famous hotel pools. Swimming here, you can gaze directly at the sea, with the water surface blending into the blue of the ocean. Many call it "a must-visit pool with breathtaking sea views," exuding a strong vacation vibe.

7. Kenting - Lido Hotel
The Lido Hotel’s sea-meets-sky infinity pool is a 22-meter-long, 10-meter-wide curved pool facing the ocean. When lying at the pool’s edge, you can enjoy the tranquility of the pool alongside the vast seascape — a uniquely Taiwanese seaside swimming experience. Additionally, the three children’s play pools of varying depths are spacious and interconnected, surrounded by well-maintained greenery that enhances the distinct resort feel of southern Taiwan’s Kenting.

8. Yilan - Crystal Spring Resort & Spa
The highlight is the largest rooftop open-air infinity hot spring pool in northern Taiwan, which also offers views of Guishan Island and the Lanyang Plain. The entire resort is designed with earth-tone lattice surrounds, integrating Yilan’s natural scenery and tranquil ambiance into the lodging space. On the 11th-floor Gallery, guests can enjoy tea, with the space adorned by glass artwork. The rooftop also features an open-air infinity pool with views of Guishan Island.

9. Yilan - Hotel Royal Chiaohsi
Hotel Royal Chiaohsi is most famous for its outdoor hot spring baths, but it also offers an infinity pool. The pool appears to stretch out into the surrounding greenery, creating a breathtaking view. During the winter season, warm water is supplied to ensure guests can enjoy the pool without feeling cold.

10. Hualien - Silks Place Taroko
Silks Place Taroko is particularly beloved for its rooftop canyon pool, which uses mountain spring water sourced from the Baiyang Waterfall, as well as its heated spa pool, heated standard swimming pool, and a traditional bathhouse-style sauna area. Guests can relax on the poolside while listening to music and enjoying the sunshine in a fresh, open-air atmosphere, or retreat to indoor spaces shaded from the sun—meeting all kinds of preferences.
