To admire the snowy mountain scenery on New Year's Day, he and two other high school classmates climbed Dawn Mountain in Hanwang Town. Unexpectedly, they got lost during the ascent and were trapped in a vast mountain valley. In the pitch-dark rainy night, the mountain temperature dropped to -7°C. The three students, with no wilderness survival experience, faced a severe test. Fortunately, after being trapped for six hours, a search team comprising Mianzhu public security officers, firefighters, and local residents successfully rescued them.

On the afternoon of January 23, 2012 (Lunar New Year's Day), two senior high school students from a Mianzhu school invited an old classmate to join them for a mountain climb, aiming to witness the snowy mountain scenery from the summit. After over an hour of aimless trekking in the remote mountains, darkness fell, and they eventually lost their way, getting trapped in a valley deep within the mountains.
Sirens blared as nighttime search commenced
Local police, upon receiving the distress call, rushed toward the mountain highway based on the students' clues: "The highway can be seen in the distance, and the sound of flowing water can be heard nearby."

The Mianzhu Public Security Bureau hastily assembled a joint rescue team of over 50 members, including police from Hanwang Sub-bureau, firefighters from the fire squadron, and Hanwang Town government staff.
