Green Field, February 20, 2012 Red Bull Cup 8th Green Field Skiing Show-Off Competition(February 18–19, 2012) was successfully completed. This two-day event was held at Genting Resort Secret Garden in Chongli, Zhangjiakou. The competition was not only highly popular among domestic skiing enthusiasts but also attracted many international participants. The Green Field Show-Off Competition can be regarded as the top-tier gathering of skiers in China.
The Green Field Show-Off Competition has been held for many years. This edition featured four competition categories: women’s snowboarding, men’s snowboarding, women’s skiing, and men’s skiing. In addition to generous prizes for the top three in each category, a uniquely creative award for the participant whose time was closest to the preset target was introduced, bringing unexpected joy to several skiers.
At the 2012 8th Green Field Show-Off Competition, hundreds of skiers attended the evening gala, where awards were presented not only to the daytime ski race winners but also to recognize the most active, most popular, and most contributing members of the Green Field forum throughout the season.
This event received strong support from well-known sports brands such as Red Bull, Kailas, Happy Fox, and Black Diamond.
