Calzaturificio Tecnica SpA was founded in the 1930s by Oreste Zanatta; in its early days, the company primarily produced safety boots.
In the 1970s, Tecnica invented the Moon Boot, which achieved tremendous success and sold 22 million pairs worldwide.
