Recently, the newly viral attraction in Taichung, "Taichung Crescent Bay," has captivated netizens with its lush green grass and crystal-clear lake water, which take on breathtaking appearances under changing sunlight. "Taichung Jiaming Lake" is actually an artificial lake created by a construction company to beautify the land. Covering a total area of about 3,600 pyeong (approximately 11,880 square meters), the lake features a curved body of water in the center that resembles a crescent moon when viewed from afar, hence its alternate name "Taichung Crescent Bay." During the day, the turquoise lake reflects the green grass, giving the water a semi-transparent sheen. At sunset, the surroundings are painted in multiple colors, contrasting beautifully with the deep blue lake—no wonder it has become such a viral hotspot.
