7During the2days, the sponsored team members visited the National Palace Museum in Taipei and toured Sun Moon Lake in Nantou County. In the following4days, the sponsored team members officially began their island cycling journey. Starting from Taichung City, they passed through Penghu, Xiluo, Dounan, Minxiong, Chiayi, Xinying, Tainan, Zuoying, Pingtung, Checheng, Mudan, and Taimali before arriving in Taitung. Along the way, they not only enjoyed the breathtaking scenery of the beautiful island of Taiwan but also tasted a variety of local specialties. It’s worth mentioning that the team members had close encounters with the Taiwan Strait on the western side of Taiwan and the Pacific Ocean on the eastern side, enjoying the wonderful cycling journey around Taiwan accompanied by sea breezes and the sound of waves.
On the last day, the sponsored team members took a small train from Taitung along the foothills of the Central Mountain Range back to Taipei, and left Taiwan with reluctance that evening. The Taiwan island cycling event was a great success！
