Budget airline to launch flights to Eastern Taiwan！ Hong Kong Express to open Hong Kong–Hualien route

Is another foreign budget airline set to launch a new route in Taiwan? In the August issue of the 《UO Magazine》 published by Hong Kong Express, not only is Hualien marked as “soon to be launched” on the final airline network map, but the magazine also features a special report on Taroko National Park, stating “Let HK Express take you on a journey through Hualien to explore the magnificent scenery of Taroko National Park.” This hints at the upcoming launch of the Hong Kong–Hualien route by Hong Kong Express.

Hong Kong Express currently operates the Hong Kong–Taichung route in Taiwan, offering daily passenger services. Once officially launched, the Hong Kong–Hualien route will become the airline’s second route in Taiwan, as well as the first budget airline route originating from Hualien.
