El Capitan in the United States is a highly representative vertical rock face in the area, standing about 910 meters tall. It is said to be around 100 million years old, with almost no convenient cracks between the rocks, making it a tremendous challenge in the eyes of climbers.
The highest peak of the Pacaraima Mountains in northern South America, it is a tabletop mountain with steep edges and a flat top, stretching about 14 kilometers in length and 5 kilometers in width, with an elevation of 2,810 meters, mainly composed of sandstone. It is the “Shangri-La” of climbers’ technical and difficulty dreams.
Finally, a reminder for climbers: before starting, always double-check your harness after securing it. While climbing, try to keep your body as close to the rock face as possible. When descending, face the wall with your limbs spread out, and it's advisable to wear slightly smaller thin-soled shoes for climbing.
