The One Foundation Rescue Alliance is a nonprofit organization under the One Foundation dedicated to rescue and disaster relief. Established during the Wenchuan earthquake, its main mission is to unite volunteer forces across the country, gradually improve, integrate, and expand the rescue teams, promote public safety and lifesaving knowledge, and better assist the government in responding to and preventing various disasters, as well as carrying out rescue operations.
Shansui Optoelectronics has always attached importance to grassroots public welfare. It has previously donated to well-known domestic rescue teams such as the Beijing Blue Sky Rescue Team and the Green Field Rescue Team. This time, by signing a partnership agreement with the One Foundation Rescue Alliance and donating high-performanceD3headlamps for use in rescue public welfare actions and outdoor training drills, Shansui Optoelectronics pledges unconditional support for emergency lighting needs in the event of large-scale sudden disasters. It will provide requested models and quantities as needed.
It is reported that2012the first batch of headlamps sponsored by Shansui Optoelectronics this year will be used for the One Foundation Rescue Alliance's flood rescue operations this summer. Shansui Optoelectronics and the Rescue Alliance will closely monitor the nationwide flood season and make adequate preparations.

The One Foundation originated from the Indian Ocean tsunami and is an international nonprofit organization based in China, initiated by Mr. Jet Li. It is committed to spreading public welfare culture, building a public welfare platform, promoting the development of public welfare causes, and providing as much humanitarian aid as possible for various natural disasters.
2009In5the year12, on the first anniversary of the Wenchuan earthquake, and recognizing the significant role played by numerous grassroots rescue forces during the Wenchuan earthquake, Mr. Jet Li announced the“official establishment of the One Foundation Rescue Alliance”to provide support and services for grassroots volunteer rescue forces.
The main work of the One Foundation Rescue Alliance is to unite volunteer forces across the country, gradually improve, integrate, and expand the rescue teams, promote public safety and lifesaving knowledge, and better assist the government in responding to and preventing various disasters, as well as carrying out rescue operations.
As of2011the year12, a total of265volunteer rescue teams from across the country have joined the One Foundation Rescue Alliance. These teams are distributed across24provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions including Beijing, Henan, Yunnan, Sichuan, Hubei, and Hainan. Many of the alliance’s member teams have participated in rescue efforts following the Wenchuan earthquake, as well as subsequent typhoon and tsunami-related public welfare rescues, and have been commended by the government. Most of these volunteer rescue teams consist of elite outdoor adventurers or seasoned professionals, excelling in outdoor skills such as mountaineering, off-road driving, diving, flying, rock climbing, and radio communication.
The One Foundation Rescue Alliance relies on one of the most advanced information-based public welfare rescue platforms in China,www.58-85.comcoordinating with volunteer rescue teams nationwide to support rescue operations at any time.
Since its establishment, the One Foundation Rescue Alliance has participated in numerous public welfare rescue operations, including the Liuzhou floods in Guangxi, the Yao’an earthquake in Yunnan, the Yushu earthquake and drought relief in Yunnan, the Jiangxi floods, the Malong floods, and the Wenchuan mudslide rescue. It has also carried out countless rescue missions in response to everyday outdoor safety incidents.
As of2010the year12, according to incomplete statistics, members of the One Foundation Rescue Alliance have participated in a recorded total of173disaster relief and rescue operations across the country, involving3415volunteer personnel, and have successfully rescued2011people through disaster relief and rescue efforts, directly or indirectly assisting in the relocation of affected residents.1800and over, transported and distributed disaster relief supplies worth nearly800ten thousand yuan, rescued important state-owned materials7900worth over ten thousand yuan, and salvaged the property of affected residents totaling nearly700ten thousand yuan.
