Receiving 869,000 visitors and generating a total tourism revenue of 580 million yuan
The 11th Chongli International Ski Festival, which lasted over 120 days from the start of skiing at the resorts in early November 2011 to early April 2012, attracted a total of 869,000 domestic and international visitors—a year-on-year increase of 25%. The total tourism revenue reached 580 million yuan, up 28.9% compared to the previous year. This not only boosted tourism consumption and increased farmers' income but also significantly stimulated the development of the rural economy and the tourism industry.
A rich variety of winter tourism products effectively revitalized the winter tourism market in Chongli County. Events such as ski competitions, freestyle skiing, children’s snow play areas, ice slides, snow sculptures, and ice climbing at ski resorts including Genting Secret Garden Ski Resort, Great Wall Ridge Ski Resort, Dolomiti Ski Resort, and Wanlong Ski Resort, as well as health and wellness treatments, festive New Year experiences in rural households, rural immersion tours, and ice mountain climbing organized by hotels like Rongchen International Holiday Hotel, Montfleury, Shuanglong Hotel, Aixue International Hotel, Cuiyunshan Forest Ski Resort & Holiday Hotel, and Huangtuzui Village in Xiwanzizhen, drew numerous domestic and international tourists.
