Open only on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and closed on weekdays, Studio io design specializes in handmade brunch items and mille-feuille cakes. The shop noted that they usually offer 6–8 varieties of cakes on Saturdays, but some flavors sell out by Sunday. Many customers pre-order their favorite cakes when making reservations to ensure they don’t miss out.

The previously released hyper-realistic bunny-patterned desserts—the lemon bunny tart and oolong bunny tart—are priced at NT$180 each, melting the hearts of bunny lovers and girls alike. The shop stated that both flavors of the bunny tarts have already sold out, and if you want to try these adorable creations, you might have to wait until early December when the strawberry flavor will be introduced.

The limited-time bubble milk tea mille-feuille and taro sago mille-feuille combine quintessentially local drinks with the classic mille-feuille cake. The tea-infused milk cream pairs with chewy pearls that stay soft even when chilled, resulting in a smooth and delicate texture that bursts with bubble tea flavor in every bite. The taro sago mille-feuille is particularly special due to the seasonal availability of taro, making it a limited-edition within a limited edition. If you’re a fan of bubble tea, mille-feuille cakes, or adorable desserts, you’ve got another great reason to visit Tainan!
