Reported on May 3 (Reporter Hua Yujun) — On May 3, it was learned from the press conference of the 2012 Second “Wuzheng Cup” National Mass Mountain Climbing and Fitness Conference (Wulian Mountain Station) that the second edition of the event will be held on June 9 at Wulian Mountain. The theme of this year’s conference is “Exercise for Health, Travel for Joy.”
It is understood that this is the second time Wulian County has hosted the National Mass Mountain Climbing and Fitness Conference. A relevant official from the Wulian County government stated that the reason for hosting the event again this year is mainly due to the county's abundant mountain resources. With its beautiful ecological environment, Wulian is highly suitable for outdoor sports. The successful experience in hosting major events multiple times is also an important reason for Wulian County to continue organizing the National Mass Mountain Climbing and Fitness Conference.
According to the introduction, the theme of this year’s National Mass Mountain Climbing and Fitness Conference is “Exercise for Health, Travel for Joy.” The event includes activities such as outdoor mountain climbing, cycling fitness rides, drum performances, and fitness performances for middle-aged and elderly people. Participants who complete the entire course within the specified time will receive a commemorative medal issued by the Chinese Mountaineering Association upon presentation of valid credentials.
