The internationally acclaimed Banff Mountain Film Festival, often dubbed the "Oscar of the Outdoors," is coming to Nanjing for a screening event!
On July 28th this year, the third day of the 2012 (7th) Asia Outdoor Exhibition, the Nanjing tour of the Banff Mountain Film Festival will be screened at the Zijin Hall of the Conference Center in the Nanjing International Expo Center, the venue of the Asia Outdoor Exhibition. The address is No. 300 Jiangdong Middle Road, Nanjing, easily accessible via Metro Lines 1 and 2 (Yuantong Station at the Expo Center).
Established in 1976, the Banff Mountain Film Festival showcases an outstanding selection of films from around the world related to outdoor culture, covering themes such as outdoor life, adventure, sports, environment, and “the last unexplored places on Earth.” It is the world’s most renowned mountain culture festival and a trendsetter for global outdoor sports culture. Actors Xia Yu and Wang Lei, the first Chinese woman to complete the Explorers Grand Slam (7 Summits + 2 Poles), serve as honorary ambassadors for the festival.
