On March 10, 2012, Zhang Jingwei, General Manager of Gore’s Beijing branch and Marketing Director of the Textiles Division in China, visited the Beijing Traffic Radio FM103.9 program “Journey.” During the live broadcast, Ms. Zhang gave a comprehensive explanation of the ongoing sixth “Gore-Tex Outdoor Dreams Realization Activity.”

Zhang Yongqiang, the 2010 champion team member, and Zhang Qiming, a participant in this edition, also appeared on the “Journey” program on April 10 to offer tips and encouragement to “dreamers” for better participation. “When writing your proposal, be thorough and detailed—don’t overlook any small detail, and make sure you have a solid contingency plan. It would be even better if you can incorporate a public welfare element,” Zhang Yongqiang shared his insights from experience.
On May 15, the “Journey” program also invited Hongxing, the chief judge of this edition, and Han Gang, the monthly champion of the March trekking group, to join everyone in looking forward to the announcement of the annual champion.
It is reported that the submission deadline for proposals will be at the end of May. As long as you have an outdoor dream, you can participate in the activity through any of the above channels, and embark on the journey of pursuing dreams with Gore, planting the flag of dreams across the country. Meanwhile, the race for the annual champion has entered the final sprint stage, signaling that the competition for monthly champions will become even more intense.
