Today, the China International Sporting Goods Fair marks its “30th edition,” a milestone moment, in Beijing. Nearly 1,200 companies from more than 30 countries and regions including China, the United States, Japan, South Korea, and Germany have gathered at the China International Exhibition Center (New Venue) in Beijing. The 2012 Sporting Goods Fair has opened in grand style, with Yao Ming attending the opening ceremony. This edition of the fair is jointly organized by the General Administration of Sport of China, the All-China Sports Federation, the Chinese Olympic Committee, the China Sporting Goods Federation, and the Chinese Society of Sports Science. It is hosted by the Equipment Center of the General Administration of Sport of China and the Huaxing Sporting Goods Development Center.
