Sukiyaki has entered New Taipei City — the Cailiao Store in Sanchong District is under preparation

Sukiyaki (SUKIYA) has been in the Taiwanese market for two years now, currently operating nine stores in Taipei City (Store No. 9, Minquan West Road Store, opened on July 10). Now, Sukiyaki is preparing to expand its reach to other counties and cities. According to recruitment information posted by Sukiyaki on job banks, they are currently hiring staff for the Cailiao Store in Sanchong District, New Taipei City (likely near Cailiao MRT Station), which is very likely to be their 10th store.

All nine of Sukiyaki’s current stores are located in Taipei City, so the Cailiao Store could very well be their first outside of Taipei. Although Sanchong District in New Taipei City isn’t far from Taipei, having a nearby, affordable beef bowl spot would be a big plus for locals.<饭，这当然是一个好消息。

In Japan, most Sukiyaki locations operate 24 hours a day, but in Taiwan, stores do not start with round-the-clock service. After a period of time, some have begun offering all-night hours. Currently, six stores are open 24/7: Store No. 1, Guting Store; Store No. 2, Taipei Station Front Store; Store No. 3, Xinyi Anhe Store; Store No. 4, Zhishan Store; Store No. 5, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall Store; and Store No. 7, Dongmen Store.
