According to Qinghai News Network, on June 5, the 2012 Qinghai Gangshika National Mountaineering and Skiing Exchange Conference conducted adaptive training.
After a day of acclimatization, the over forty participants of this year’s Gangshika national mountaineering and skiing event have become familiar with the local climate and other conditions. After having a simple breakfast, the team members began their adaptive training under the guidance of coaches, familiarizing themselves with equipment and gear. Due to the unpredictable weather at Gangshika that day—swinging between bright sunshine and snow—it posed many challenges for the participants. However, many still persisted with the training in preparation for the competition on June 6. Many participants stated that after two days of training, they had adapted to Gangshika’s climate and were confident they could deliver impressive performances in the upcoming events.
