On the morning of the 9th, the 2nd "Wuzheng Cup" National Mass Mountain Climbing and Fitness Conference (Wulian Mountain Station) 2012 was held at Wulian Mountain, featuring two route options: mass mountain climbing and cycling.
Over 3,000 mountain climbing enthusiasts and more than 100 cycling fans from Rizhao City and other parts of the province and beyond participated in the event.
The event was jointly organized by the Mountaineering Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, the Provincial Sports Bureau, and the People's Government of Rizhao City; co-hosted by the Municipal Sports Bureau and the People's Government of Wulian County; and co-sponsored by the Wulian County Tourism, Culture, Sports and Radio & Television Bureau, the Wulian Mountain Scenic Area Management Committee, and Wuzheng Group.
